The humble beauty of the past is reclaimed, reinvented by merging with luxurious craftsmanship and revived to create unique, one-of-a-kind garments. Anne started the collection 2015, while she was still living in London, in a quest to create fashion, which is sustainable. There are so many beautiful clothes and materials in circuit already and rather than adding to the never-ending cycle of using resources and producing new materials, she wants to celebrate the existing. She uses vintage garments and dead-stock materials, which already have a story to tell, and is giving them another lease of life by altering them and adding high-end, hand embroidered embellishment. Each garment is genderless, nonseasonal and one-of-a-kind, as the vintage garments and hand-embellishment all vary a little. Also, each style and its particular embroidery is limited, adding to the uniqueness of the collection.
