HORROR VACUI is a label by Anna Heinrichs, featuring fine pyjamas and nightwear inspired garments with whimsical prints and elaborate
sartorial details. She began contemplating her own brand in 2012 and founded HORROR VACUI after she had been in the family business,
a sewing company, for more than 10 years. With HORROR VACUI, the fear of emptiness (lat. horror vacui), Anna Heinrichs redefines this dimension, exciting colours, modern patterns, unexpected materials and elaborate cutting techniques as well as processing details transform monotonous basics into character pieces. HORROR VACUI celebrates character and individuality. She presented her collection in January 2014 in Paris. Since Spring/ Summer 2017 Anna has extended her collection to summer dresses and blouses
inspired by historic nightwear.
